What goes into a professional memorial video
The work a video editor would do for a funeral, done for one person from one family’s photos. Ordering takes you about twenty minutes. Nothing is final until you have seen it.
You add the photos and videos
Anything from 20 to 300 photos, and clips from your phone. There is no need to sort them or take out duplicates.
Your part: You pick the part of each video you want in the film.
We put them in order and repair the damaged ones
Undated photos are placed by what is in them, so the film runs from childhood onward. Scratches, fading and blur are repaired on the photos you mark.

We edit the film
An opening title with the name and years, a card at each new decade, a closing card, and music written for this film in the mood you choose. You get versions for every screen: landscape, portrait and a loop.

The preview is the full film with a watermark. If it is right, you pay and download the film, the memorial card and the song list. If it is not, you pay nothing.

A common worry is that the file won’t open on the funeral home’s screen. Ours are ordinary 1080p MP4 files, which almost every television, laptop and projector plays.

Will it look fake?
No. A few photos get a small, natural movement, such as hair in the wind or a change in the light. Where that would look wrong, the camera just moves slowly across the photo. Your videos play as they were filmed. Nobody is made to speak, no voice is copied, and every film says that AI helped to make it.
Will it play at the service?
Yes. It is a standard video file. Bring it on a USB drive or send the link to the funeral home, and try it on their screen a day or two before if you can.
What happens to the photos?
We use them for your film and nothing else. They are never used to train AI, and they are deleted automatically 30 days after delivery.

How many photos do I need for a memorial video?
Between 20 and 300. About twelve photos fill one minute, so 40 to 60 photos make a 3 to 5 minute film for the service. You don’t need to sort them first, and duplicates are left out automatically.
How long should a memorial video be?
Three to five minutes during the service itself, so there is still time for the eulogy and the music. You can choose 3, 5, 8 or 10 minutes, and the loop version can run for as long as you need at the visitation or the reception.
Will the video play at the funeral home?
Yes. It is a standard 1080p MP4 video file, which almost every screen, laptop and TV plays. Bring it on a USB drive or send the download link to the funeral home, and if you can, test it a day or two before.
Is it a template slideshow, or a custom memorial video?
It is a custom film, made for one person from your photos and your answers. The order, the words on screen, the decade cards and the music are chosen for that film alone, and you check each of them before you pay.
Can I change the order of the photos?
Yes. We put the photos in date order for you, and you can move any photo by dragging it or with the Move up and Move down buttons. After delivery you can still make changes and download a new version.
What songs are played at funerals?
Hymns, well-loved standards and the songs the person loved most are the usual choices. Every film comes with a song list for arriving, reflection and leaving, with links to listen. The film itself has its own instrumental music, so it can be shared online without copyright problems.
Is it made with AI? Will it look strange?
AI helps in two places: it repairs damaged prints, and it adds slight, natural movement to a few chosen photos. Faces are never made to speak, voices are never copied, and every film is labeled as made with AI help. You watch the whole preview before you pay.
What happens to the photos?
They are used only to make your film. They stay private, are never used to train AI, and are deleted automatically 30 days after delivery, even if you keep the film online. No account is needed.
Can family and friends watch the film online?
Yes. On your order page you can make a private link that plays the film on any phone or computer, and send it by message or email. The card’s QR code opens the same page. It is not listed or searchable. If you like, we keep the film online for a year at no cost. Only the finished film and the card are kept, never the photos. You can stop sharing at any time, and it is deleted at once.
Can I use it for a celebration of life or a memorial service?
Yes. The same film works as a funeral video, at a memorial service or as a celebration of life video, and as a tribute video to send to family and friends who could not be there.
Can I make one for an anniversary or a birthday, not a funeral?
Yes. When you start, choose “To remember them” instead of “For the funeral or memorial service”. It suits the anniversary of their death, a birthday in their memory, a family gathering or a keepsake for the grandchildren: an in loving memory video with the same care and the same free preview. The life story is written for that day, the closing card says “Always remembered”, and the song list has songs to listen to together. You can add a short note on the occasion and the date, which then appears on the opening card.
